A friendly reminder for the courtesy and peace of all our neighbors and pets that the traditional loud booms and bangs of our Independence Day celebration have concluded. Please be mindful and refrain from igniting your personal fireworks that create whistling, booming and banging sounds. Michigan Compiled Law MCL 28.457 allows for those noisy displays the day before, the day of and the day after a national holiday. Continued use may bring law enforcement knocking.

The residential automobile maximum speed limit is 25 miles per hour. Concerns have been mentioned, especially on Mohican Trail. Please be aware of your speed in our neighborhoods.

Our neighbor Jim Bringard made quite the catch on July 4th, 2017 with a Large Mouth Bass overĀ 17″ long. A visiting relative Mike, caught a young 18″ Northern Pike June 30th. On July 1st Mike caught a much larger Pike that he couldn’t get into the boat before it got off. With all catches, Jim and Mike practice CPR (Catch, Photograph and Release). The exception to CPR are Carp and Catfish which make excellent garden or flower bed fertilizer.
